MAYBELINE Dream Bouncy Blush

The word obsessed has a rather unpleasant connotation, yes?

I prefer to think of my self as enthusiastic, well informed gal who happens to be predisposed to continually updating my product knowledge.
Longer, but nicer.

My name is Dawne and I love drugstore shopping.

Armed only with a lack of self control and my bank card I picked up this blush and here is what I found:

*the promise

*Melts seemlessly into skin
*Natural sheer coverage
*Lightweight texture
*Buildable coverage

*the PURE truth

The good news is there are quite a few colours that are available. The bad news is some of them are just too light for even fair skinned girls to wear them. Seriously lacking pigment.

The gel/powder-like texture of this product make it easy to apply, blending nicely onto skin creating a natural looking flush. Stipple it on with a brush, use a sponge, or just let the warmth of your fingers help fuse this blush to your skin.

These little bursts of fun have some decent staying power for even an oily skinned girl. Drier mature skin will like the silly putty texture as it allows you to push it into skin allowing for a "natural" finish.
HOT TAMALE

*the bottom line

Shopping therapy lesson #1:
Sometimes a little 10$ purchase can make you feel just as good as an expensive one.
AND no buyers remorse.

As with most bargains this one is not without it's drawbacks.
Be aware it possess a slightly deceptive representation of pigment when in the package.

PINK PLUM
CANDY CORAL

The brighter tones deposit waaay more colour than the lighter shades. In fact a couple of the light ones are a complete wash out.

**Make sure to test on your skin before you buy

*rating

In a blind blush test I think I would be hard pressed to distinguish between this blush and my NARS blush sticks.
Minus the sparkle of most NARS both have a smooth natural finish, with layer-able abilities.

This one rates:

3 out of 5
