Philosophy- Purity*made simple

You know you hate them. I do. The sanctimonious inspirational quote person on facebook.

Well years before we had to suffer  from the onslaught of self proclaimed Gandhi - like guru' s on FB -
(insert selfy here: looking pensive on a mountain top, or profile shot- ocean gazingwe had to be annoyed the old fashioned way- through marketing.

Philosophy had/has a quirky, and I believe slightly sincere marketing program to both sell to, and enlighten customers.
Their purity face wash to date still carries this message :

purity is natural. we come into the world with all the right instincts. we are innocent and perceive things as they should be, rather than how they are. our conscience is clear, our hands are clean and the world at large is truly beautiful.
To be fair I actually like Philosophy's philosophy. Original then- vexing on FB from uppity know it all's who do not know it all.

the promise
-dissolves dirt, make-up & sub surface debris
-suitable for sensitive skin
-won't over-strip
-removes eye make-up
-toner
-fragrance free

the pure truth
I have seen (and tried ) a LOT of products over the years. The one product I have always remained faithful to is this one. After about 10 years together this has proven to be my longest standing relationship.

It says it is a 3 in 1 product, and it really is. It effectively removes dirt and eye makeup without over stripping, leaving skin soft.

As women we have a few things that are sacred to us. Our shoes, (obvious) a good red lipstick, and that amazing feeling we get when we wash off the make-up and debris from the day. We want to sing it feels so good.

I have recommended this cleanser to a multitude of people over the years and I have yet to hear even one person complain.

the bottom line
If you haven't tried this face wash yet you are missing out. There is no fragrance- no overcharging- no residue- and no buyers remorse. A bottle will last you for ages as a thumbnail amount is all that is needed to thoroughly cleanse your face.

rating
I enthusiastically endorse this cleanser. There really isn't anything to pick on with this product. But don't take my word for it.
It has won awards at Allure's readers choice in 2007 & 2012,  QVC 2013 nominee, and was a 2008 Sephora winner.
