Neostrata Moisture Rescue Sheet Mask

If you are good little skin-care minx than you already have your exfoliation routine down pat.

But what should you do on days off from exfoliationg?
Well, you leave the fields fallow shall we say, and you moisturize!

THE PROMISE:
Offers fast-acting relief for dehydrated skin
• Provides long-lasting hydration
• Restores softer, more comfortable and supple skin

THE PURE TRUTH:
This item contains not only hyaluronic acid but urea as well.
Hyaluronic is a polymer that is able to hold about 1000 times it's own weight in water. This "water magnet" is included in this mask and at a much higher % than generally found.  So far so good.

Urea is a humectant that is found in skin tissue and helps to keep skin soft and supple.
It technically is a waste product that is formed by the body after metabilizing protein--and wait for it---is excreted through our urine.
So is Neostrata secretly putting pee on my face?

Fortunately we can get urea through synthetic sources IE: ammonia and carbon dioxide. (Had you worried didn't I?)

Both of these are excellent choices to include.
This mask is applied to the face not in the traditional sense with cream you wash off, but with a sheet placed over your skin infused with all the moisturizing goodies.

THE BOTTOM LINE:
Good for anyone at any age, and is particularly handy for those in dry cold climates. You purchase 8 sheets per box for 40$ but there is enough serum in each pkg for 2 applications so you really are getting 16.
All that extra moisture smooth outs dehydration lines and is very soothing after any Retin A or gylcolic applications.

RATING:
If you use each sheet twice the price is definitely acceptable, and the product really does what it says it will. Yes you will look a bit weird sporting a Jason like mask for 30 min or so but it's all in the name of beauty.
Did Jason ever take a selfy?

You had me at "rescue" Neostrata mask.

I give this one 4 out of 5 kisses.
It loses a mark simply because I find it difficult to drink my wine while I have one on my face. Cheers!
