NYX Butter Gloss

NYX BUTTER GLOSSES
How many glosses can a girl have? As it turns out, a lot.
To date I have glosses from Nars, Chanel, Mac, Jane Iredale, Youngblood, Dior, Guerlain and.....NYX... the subject of this review.

Never sastified with the sticky or poorly pigmented glosses I own I decided to look into NYX at London Drugs and here is what I found.

THE PROMISE:  A yummy smelling non - sticky gloss that melts on your lips. It can be worn on it's own for a sheer lip, or couple with other lip products for medium coverage.

THE PURE TRUTH:  True these 12 glosses come in array of dessert inspired scents such as creme brulee, tiramisu and the like. And true they have enough pigment to wear on their own to give you a light glossy pout. Layer on top of pencil or lipstick and they nicely add some extra shine and colour without being sticky.

5 Faves -left to right
peaches &cream, peach cobbler, merengue
maple blondie, cherry cheesecake

The BOTTOM LINE: I really like this gloss. I like the colours, I like the texture, I like the price!
They are nice and smooth and still maintain the ability to stay put.
Smooth glosses are notorious for slipping off your lips leaving you  looking like you just ate an entire chicken at KFC! ----Not the case with these glosses---smooth but stable.

These guys weren't rated #1 for spring 2013 in Oprah's cleverly named O-Wards for no reason. At around 8$ a pop these glosses make a very strong case for trading in my Chanel.

RATING:  Not much I can find wrong with this gloss. It could possess a little more staying power but I mean come on, it's a gloss people! You are gonna have to re-apply!

I am feeling generous today so this one gets 5 kisses out of 5.
