GIORGIO ARMANI Lasting Silk UV Foundation

Popping into my local Holt Renfrew I was drawn to the Armani counter like a lamb to the slaughter.
It was just like in those old cartoons where the evil witch hypnotizes and commands you to follow their wispy vapour finger- beckoning you over to meet your doom.

Alas another brutal experience for my bank account was accomplished due to my impulse control issues.

The Promise:
Satin matte finish
Long wear
SPF 20
Light/Medium Coverage
Light feel

The Pure Truth:
Oooo la la! To tell the truth I enjoy most things Armani, but this is my favourite by far.

Known for his attention to textures and elegance in attire Armani transfers this vision into his make-up line.
This particular foundation provides a light to medium coverage that sits smoothly on the skin with a remarkable "second skin" feel.
I have to say it again, OOOO LA LA!
Dare I say there is a graceful delicacy about this base?

If you are like me and have a greasy T-zone with little to no pigmentation issues than this is the foundation for you. This water based foundation looks as pretty darn fresh after 10 hrs as it does first thing in the am.

This silky foundation leaves the skin gently covered while still allowing the skin to look relatively fresh and undone. Skin feels light as though there is nothing on it.

The Bottom Line:
After using this product on several different skin types I would have to endorse it for most but the extremely dry or extremely oily.

Basically unless you are a petrified mummy or as slimy as the sledgehammer Miley keeps licking in that annoying video you are good to go.

At $60 a bottle some might find it too expensive but one small pump of product can take you pretty far.
A well deserved winner of both the celebrated Allure" Best of Beauty" in 2010 and CEW 2010 finalist!

Rating:

Love the finish and feel, just don't love the $$$$.
